Heute machen wir im Freundeskeis eine kleine Weihnachtsfeier, bei der du eingeladen währst. Ich weiß noch wie du dich gefreut hast, als ich glutenfreie Lebkuchen gebacken habe, und dass du jedes Jahr gefragt hast, ob ich die wieder backen werde.

Ich bin mir absolut sicher, dass du – so wie für mich – in der kurzen Zeit, die dir vergönnt war, die Welt für so unglaublich viele Leuten zu einem besseren Ort gemacht hast, ihr Leben geprägt hast und einen nachhaltigen Einfluss gehabt hast – dafür kann ich dir nicht genug danken.Ob du jetzt an so einem Ort wie dem Himmel bist? Ich kann es nicht sagen.
Doch was ich weiß ist, egal wo du bist, dein alle Wolken durchdringendes Strahlen wird diesen Ort erhellen.

Drei Monate sind seit dem grauenhaften Moment vergangen, der Dein irdisches Leben ausgelöscht hat. Erst langsam wird für mich die Endgültigkeit unseres Verlusts emotional fassbar. Jede Faser meines Lebens und jede – auch die banalste – Kleinigkeit des Alltags ist mit Dir verbunden und lässt Dich geradezu allgegenwärtig erscheinen, besonders auch bei den vielen Gelegenheiten, wo wir miteinander gelacht hätten.

Aber später, beim Heimfahren,über den Riederberg, hat sich das Gewitter schon zusammengebaut, die vielen dunklen Wolken und als ich ausstieg hat es schon laut gekracht.

als ich dich vor vielen Jahre kennengelernt hab, wusste ich sofort, dass du ein lustiger, netter und liebevoller Mensch bist – du hast immer gute Laune verbreitet. I still can’t believe it. I am extremely shocked and sad. I don’t understand how this could happen. Cornelia was always such a cheerful and fun person to be with. Every photo I see of her, she is just smiling. I met her during my Erasmus semester in Stockholm and from the moment I first talked to her, I could tell she was someone I’d spend a lot of time with. We hung out a lot, we went on vacation together, we watched movies… she made my life in Stockholm better in her own way.
On my last week of Erasmus, I met with her for one last time on June 12th. We were both sad as we knew it’d take a long time till we met again in the future as we live in 2 different countries. If only I knew that would be the last time I’d see her… Before leaving, she asked me one thing „Please don’t forget about me.“
I will never forget you Coco. I will always remember you. I wish you were here so I could just hug you… Rest in peace.

Auch wenn die Zeit im AKG Wien wohl nicht zu ihren glücklichsten gehört hat, habe ich sie als große Persönlichkeit und starke Frau in Erinnerung. Und so lese ich es auch in den vielen Kommentare.

I met Cornelia for the first time in Gotland trip with ESN, and we used the same room in the cabin. She was a very energetic and warm hearted friend who loves to swim in the ocean and have barbeque with other students 🙂 Although the time we met was short, I could definitely feel she is a nice person.
Last time I saw her was in the ESN farewell party around end of May, and I could recognize her from far away because of her bright energy!! It is so sad that is the last memory of her.Thank you for the great memories Cornelia! I will always remember you 🙂

Ich, Renate, habe heute von einer ehemaligen Mutter unserer damaligen Klasse die Nachricht über deinen Tod erhalten. Zutiefst betroffen musste ich sofort Irene anrufen, denn gemeinsam lässt sich die Betroffenheit ein bisschen besser aushalten.
Viel zu früh bist du aus deinem noch so jungen Leben herausgerissen worden.

Ach Cornelia, nun ist bald 1 Woche vergangen, und ich kann und will es immer noch nicht realisieren, dass so ein wunderbarer Mensch wie du jetzt einfach fort sein soll.
Ich würde alles dafür geben, noch einmal von deiner unglaublichen Lebensfreude angesteckt zu werden, woher hast du nur diese ganze Kraft immer her genommen?
Und sicher gab es Momente, wo du damit angeeckt bist, aber das war dir stets egal, und ich würde gerade alles dafür geben, noch einmal erschöpft von deiner schieren Energie zu sein.Ich höre gerade Musik von den Toten Hosen, eine Band die fast so alt ist wie ich – wie du jetzt grinsend sagen würdest -, und die ich trotzdem erst so richtig durch dich wahrgenommen habe. Dabei musste ich an unser tolles Wochenende am Nova Rock mit Ihnen denken. Ich glaube ohne dich wäre ich dort absolut verloren gewesen, aber du bist einfach sorgenfrei auf andere Menschen zugegangen und hast die mitgerissen und uns so ein unvergessliches Wochenende voller Spaß und Zweisamkeit geschaffen. Wie du beim Reden mit fremden Menschen immer unterbewusst in einen Wiener Dialekt übergegangen ist blieb mir irgendwie als kleines, liebes Detail von diesem Wochenende hängen. Und das Feuerwerk am Ende des Ärzte Konzertes, das wir uns umarmend bis zum Schluss angeschaut haben – hätte ich gewusst, was passiert, hätte ich dich noch viel länger festgehalten.
Ach, du hast die ersten Jahre in Wien soviel leichter gemacht, und ich habe mit Schiwi und dir direkt so tolle Freunde gefunden. Ich würde alles dafür geben, um noch mehr Zeit mit dir zu haben, um dieses 3er-Gespann wieder aufleben zu lassen und die Freundschaft mit euch zu genießen. Du wirst wohl auf ewig vermisst werden!

wo auch immer du gerade bist, ich hoffe, dass du weißt, dass es hier sehr viele Menschen gibt, die an dich denken, dich vermissen und in deren Herzen du für immer leben wirst.
Ich habe in den letzten Tage sehr viel an dich gedacht. Jedes Mal, wenn ich meine Augen schließe, sehe ich dein strahlendes Lächeln, dein bestechend herzliches Lachen, das Feuer in deinen Augen. Ich habe mich an all die Momente erinnert, die ich nur mit dir geteilt habe.
Wir haben uns in der Neurologie-Rotation im Krankenhaus kennengelernt, Anfang April. Und seien wir ehrlich, die Rotation war großer Schwachsinn. Wir haben uns ohne Ende gelangweilt.
Aber wir haben das beste draus gemacht. Ich habe mit dir die lustigste, schönste und vertrauteste Zeit gehabt, die ich mir nur hätte vorstellen können.
Wir haben uns nicht lange gekannt, aber in der kurzen Zeit bist du mir so sehr ans Herz gewachsen.
Jede einzelne Erinnerung, sie brennt in mir.
Wie du dich jedem auf Schwedisch vorgestellt hast, nur um kurz darauf auf Englisch zu wechseln. Damit hast du mich irgendwann angesteckt. Wie wir zusammen im Pressbyrån standen, uns die Kuscheltiere angeschaut haben und kurz darauf von dem netten älteren Herrn angesprochen wurden, ich dich aber weitergezogen habe, weil ich Hunger hatte, und du nur zu höflich warst, um das Gespräch selbst zu beenden. Wie du über mich gelacht hast, nachdem ich wieder einmal zu spät und völlig durch den Wind auf der Station ankam. Unsere Endlosgespräche. Über Freundschaft und Liebe und Zukunft und Tattoos und Musicals und Wien und Berlin. Wie wir uns gegenseitig das Herz ausgeschüttet haben. Wir wir im Bus nach Solna saßen und die Sonne genossen haben. Wie wir die neurologische Notaufnahme gesucht haben, uns dabei alle Zeit der Welt gelassen haben, weil wir wussten, dass niemand auf uns wartet. Wie wir drauf und dran waren einfach zu gehen, wir uns dann aber doch nicht getraut haben. Unser extrem seltsamer Tag in der Neurophysiologie mit unserer noch seltsameren Supervisorin. Wie wir am Ende des Tages die Station verlassen haben. Unsere verstörten Gesichter im Aufzug und im Bus. Das werde ich niemals vergessen.
Die heiße Schokolade, die Pressbyrån-Salate, das Eis.
Das Herz, das du in den Tisch im Ärztezimmer eingeritzt hast. Mit unseren Initialien.
Wir waren einfach DIE Partners in Crime. Es war so wundervoll mit dir.
Das alles und noch so viel mehr sind unsere gemeinsamen Erinnerungen. Ich werde sie jetzt für uns beide tragen, sie sicher aufbewahren und niemals vergessen. Das verspreche ich dir.
Du hast mir einmal gesagt, dass du immer gute Laune hast. Das hat man dir jederzeit angesehen. Du hast gestrahlt, immer einen frechen Spruch auf der Zunge gehabt. Du hast geblüht vor Lebensmut. Vor Freude und Stärke. Du hast die Blicke der anderen ignoriert, du warst einfach immer du selbst. Dafür bewundere ich dich so sehr.Und ich vermisse dich, Coco. Du bleibst auf ewig in meinem Herzen.

Noch immer kann ich nicht glauben, dass ich am Sonntag von deinem Unfall erfahren habe und wir einander nicht mehr auf Alex‘ nächster Party oder bei einem zweiten DnD Spiel sehen werden. Du hättest es sicher wieder geschafft, dass unsere Gruppe nach nur zwei Minuten beinahe von den Wachen festgenommen und das Spiel damit vorbeigewesen wäre, indem du dem Prinzen im Spiel deine Meinung ins Gesicht schmeißt.
Wir hatten einander nach der Schulzeit längere Zeit nicht gesehen und dann erst wieder in dem Kontext. Damals in der Volksschule hattest du ganz lange Haare und ich habe sie immer bewundert und wollte auch so lange Haare haben. Das ist mir sehr in Erinnerung geblieben.
Jetzt ist es vor allem deine aufgeweckte Art und dein breites Lächeln, mit dem du den Raum gefüllt und für dich eingenommen hast. Auch, wenn wir nicht näher befreundet waren, ist es unglaublich schwer, sich vorzustellen, dass du jetzt woanders bist. Ich werde beim Bouldern an dich denken, damit ich nicht „einen auf Coco mache“ (wie dein Freundeskreis gesagt hat), die sich mit vollem Wagemut in einen Sprung wirft und mir dann einige Zeit später auf der Suche nach einer Physiotherapie schreibt.
Wo immer du auch bist, ich hoffe, du siehst, wie sehr du ganz vielen Menschen abgehst und ihnen so wichtig bist. Danke für unsere gemeinsamen Erinnerungen.

Cornelia war nicht nur meine erste und engste Volksschulfreundin, sondern auch 14 Jahre lang meine Nachbarin. Wir haben viel Zeit miteinander verbracht und uns wurde nie langweilig. Selbst im Unterricht nicht, wo wir Briefchen geschrieben haben und dabei erwischt wurden. Wir haben schöne Sommer in Niederösterreich verbracht, waren schwimmen und haben uns die gleichen Kuscheltiere gekauft. Der weiße Plüschtiger steht noch bei mir oben am Kasten, den werde ich in Ehren halten und immer an Dich denken, wenn ich ihn sehe. Unser größter Traum damals war ein eigener Reiterhof, wir waren so fest von unserem Plan überzeugt, dass wir unsere Eltern auch schon mit einbezogen haben, unsere Väter als Stallburschen und unsere Mütter als Köchinnen.
Cornelia, ich danke Dir für die gemeinsamen Erlebnisse und für deine erfrischende authentische Art, die ich stets bewundere. -
Das erste Mal als sich unsere Wege kreuzten war in einem gemeinsamen Kurs. Wir haben uns sofort gut verstanden. Mit deiner unbeschwerten, fröhlichen Art war es auch kaum möglich dich nicht zu mögen. Nachdem sich unsere Wege dann doch auseinanderentwickelt hatten, trafen wir uns wieder auf einer Feier. Vielleicht war es Zufall, vielleicht Schicksal, aber Tatsache ist, dass unsere Freundschaft in diesem Moment nun wirklich begonnen hat; ich wünschte nur, sie hätte länger angedauert.
Mit dir konnte man Spaß auf jeder Party haben, über die komischten Sachen reden und auch einfach so kindisch sein wie man wollte.
Ich bin froh dich kennengelernt, und schöne Erinnerungen mit dir geformt zu haben, welche ich niemals vergessen werde. -

We met 12 years ago while on holiday in Greece and immediately bonded over books and fantasy series.
Four years ago you were the first person I informed when I heard I would move to Vienna. We were both so excited that we could meet each other „in real life“ again after so many years of only online contact.
You were always there when I had trouble with the Austrian adminstration system or when I didn’t understand Austrian customs, willing to help me and provide me with answers.
I will always treasure our long walks around the city, which often ended at Café Mozart just so we could have cake as dinner. When we met up we could talk for hours about anything and nothing at all.
Never have I met someone so full off energy and enjoying life as you. You were truly one of a kind.
I miss you Cornelia and will never forget you. -

Bereits als Jugendlicher lernte ich deine Tante und deinen Vater kennen, wir wohnten schon damals in unmittelbarer Nähe. Besonders freute ich mich dann, als du mit meiner Tochter bereits ab dem Alter von 6 Jahren die gleiche Schule besuchtest, ihr beide schon damals beste Freundinnen wurdet und immer viel Spaß miteinander hattet. Ich erinnere mich gerne an die schönen Zeiten, das gemeinsame Schifahren am Stuhleck, deine Abenteuerlust, Unternehmungsfreudigkteit und die schönen Erlebnisse mit dir – die ich manchmal teilen durfte – aber auch an die tollen Geschichten die ich hörte und auch hier von den dich Liebenden sehr gerne lese.

du warst ein wundervoller Mensch, immer lebenslustig und aufgedreht. Es gibt viele schöne, angenehme, lustige oder tolle Momente mit dir. Besonders in Erinnerung ist mir unser Urlaub in Skandinavien letztes Jahr, wo du der Navigator warst, der uns immer ans Ziel brachte. Du hast die Delfine entdeckt, die Elche und die Nordlichter. Also all die coolen Sachen, die wir gemacht haben.Ich tue mir unfassbar schwer meine Gefühle in Worte zu fassen, doch du bist mir unglaublich wichtig, und ich vermisse dich.

Mit Schock und Trauer habe ich vernommen, dass du von uns gegangen bist. Irgendwie kann ich es nicht fassen, dass es nie mehr eine Runde Dungeons and Dragons mit dir geben wird und auch kein nächstes Call of Cthulhu… dass es überhaupt in dieser Welt kein Wiedersehen mehr geben kann.
Ich bin dankbar, dass ich dich kennen lernen durfte, liebe Cornelia, dankbar, dass wir zusammen getratscht, gegessen, gespielt und gelacht haben.
Dass ein junger Mensch wie du bereits aus dem Leben scheiden muss, erscheint ungerecht und grausam. Die Guten sterben immer zu jung. Als Trost bleibt uns, deinen Freunden und Familienmitgliedern, nur, die Erinnerung an dich zu bewahren. Und das werden wir tun – für immer.

Ich hatte das Glück Coco letztes Jahr kennen zu lernen. Es fiel ihr sehr leicht anderen Menschen ans Herz zu wachsen und so auch mir. Selten habe ich einen Menschen gesehen der so viel lacht wie sie.

Ich horche noch immer auf deine Schritte und deine vertraute Stimme. Und ich kann einfach nicht begreifen dass ich sie nicht wieder hören werde.

Ach Coco, jetzt bist du einfach gegangen ohne dich gscheit zu verabschieden.. wenigstens für den Club 27 hättest du noch bleiben können… Ich hoffe, du und Bonnie habt euch in Zwischenzeit gefunden und macht jetzt gemeinsam die Afterparty unsicher!
Ich weiß, mit mir war’s nicht immer leicht, aber du warst trotzdem da, wenn ich dich gebraucht hab und hast mir gezeigt, was Leben bedeutet. Ich bin dankbar für jede Sekunde mit dir und dafür, dass wir zwei zumindest ein Stück unseres Weges gemeinsam gegangen sind. Dein Lachen wird immer in meinem Herzen bleiben, genau wie du auch immer einen Platz dort haben wirst.

Ich habe Coco im letzten Wintersemester im Studium kennenlernen dürfen. Wir kannten uns zwar nicht lange aber sie hat einen sehr guten Eindruck bei mir und den Ärzten auf der Station hinterlassen. Sie hat sehr viel Liebe und Leidenschaft im Krankenhaus gezeigt. Sie hat mir damals auch erzählt, dass sie Gynäkologin werden möchte und war auch immer länger auf der Station und hat auch freiwillige Nachtdienste gemacht.
Obwohl wir uns nur kurz kannten, hat sie mir immer zugehört und versucht bei Problemen weiterzuhelfen. Sie war ein sehr guter Mensch, den ich sehr vermissen werde. Ich bereue es, dass wir nicht noch mehr Zeit miteinander verbringen konnten und bin zugleich mega glücklich und dankbar, dass ich einem so wunderbaren Menschen begegnen durfte. Danke Coco für die Gespräche, fürs Zuhören, für Alles! -
Da ich dich fast 19 Jahre lang gekannt habe, fällt es mir schwer, mir ein Leben ohne dich vorzustellen. Ich schätze es sehr, dass ich so lange mit dir befreundet sein durfte, dass wir gemeinsam aufgewachsen sind und uns gegenseitig durch so viele Lebensphasen begleitet haben. Du hast mir fast jedes Jahr etwas zum Geburtstag geschenkt, und jetzt habe ich viele kleine Gegenstände, die mich immer an dich erinnern werden. Ich hoffe, dir war bewusst, wie viele Menschen du mit deiner Präsenz bereichert hast. Auch wenn du nicht mehr hier bist, wird dein Einfluss auf mein Leben nie verschwinden, und ich werde dich nie vergessen.

Liebe Coco, genau wie ich trauern jetzt sehr viele Leute um dich.
Es war eigentlich immer selbstverständlich, dass wir uns noch oft sehen werden. Einfach bei Besuchen. Definitiv auf meiner Hochzeit und genauso klar auf deiner. Auf vielen Parties, egal ob mit oder ohne richtigen Anlass.
Die meisten und längsten Gespräche haben wir beide im Auto geführt, während ich dich abends nach deinen Besuchen durch die ganze Stadt geführt habe, um dich dann vor deinem Haustor abzusetzen und denselben kleinen Witz wie immer und wie bei jedem Freund loszulassen: „Komm gut heim!“
Seit einigen Monaten glitzert unsere Rückbank, auf der du in deinem Kleid für den Ärzteball gesessen bist. Ich hab dazwischen ein paar mal erfolglos versucht, den Glitter loszuwerden. Jetzt bin ich ein bisschen froh, dass er noch da ist, wie ein kleiner Beweis dafür, dass ich dich kennen und Zeit mit dir verbringen durfte.
Vielleicht verschwindet er irgendwann doch noch, aber das ist okay. Die Erinnerungen an dich bleiben für immer. Danke für deine Freundschaft und viel Kraft an alle, die dich jetzt leider vermissen müssen. -
Cornelia, dich und mich hat definitiv die Liebe zu den Fantasywelten verbunden. Dabei denke ich erstens an die Musik, wo wir zuletzt Schulter an Schulter im Mosh Pit zu Alestorm und Gloryhammer gesprungen sind. Aber vor allem denke ich an das gemeinsame D&D-Spielen, bei dem wir zusammen dem ein oder anderen Monster getrotzt haben und oft dieselbe „moralische Flexibilität“ beim Lösen verschiedenster Situationen hatten. Coco, du hast sicher auch im echten Leben bis zum Schluss gekämpft, also lass dich in diesem Sinne von den Walküren nach Walhalla tragen.

Cornelia war mir immer ein Vorbild wenn es darum ging das Leben in vollen Zügen zu genießen. Mit ihr war die Stimmung immer noch mal ganz anders, ausgelassener. Ich werde mich für immer an ihre Lachanfälle und die vielen zweideutigen Witze und Bemerkungen erinnern.
Für mich wird sie auf ewig in allen Fantasiewelten präsent sein, wo sie kranken Menschen helfen kann. Als Barde wird sie mit ihrer Gitarre bestückt vielen Wesen Freude bereiten und gemeinsam mit ihrem bärischen Begleiter die Welten bereisen. Vermultich trifft sie so auch auf die ein oder andere Abenteuergruppe.In unserer Welt hilft sie sicherlich auch der ein oder anderen verlorenen oder verunglückten Person. Ja bestimmt ist sie jetzt so eine Art Schutzengel aller gutaussehender Männer, wie Henry Cavill 🙂

Coco war so ein lebensfroher Mensch.
Wir haben so viel zusammen erlebt, es ist unmöglich, alles zu erzählen. Sie war bei jedem Spieleabend dabei, war bereit für jede Party, hat am Ärzteball die Nacht durchtanzt. Wir haben Unsinn gebaut – und anatomisch korrekte Schneemänner. Wir haben Feuerwerke bestaunt und sind bis zur letzten Rakete draußen geblieben, egal, wie kalt uns auch war. Wir saßen stundenlang zusammen, um Dungeons and Dragons zu spielen, um Geschirr zu bemalen, um einfach nur zu reden. Wir haben lustige Videos geteilt, jeden dummen Gedanken und auch ein paar Mal Asthmasprays.
Wir haben unendlich viel erlebt und ich hätte gerne noch unendlich viel mehr mit dir erlebt.
Sie wollte noch so viel erleben. Sie wollte Ärztin werden. Sie wollte Kinder kriegen. Sie wollte die Welt bereisen. Sie wollte weiterleben.
Coco, du hast mein Leben geprägt. Ich werde dein Lachen nie vergessen. Ich werde dein Weinen nie vergessen. Ich werde dich nie vergessen.

Liebe Cornelia!
Es wird noch eine Weile dauern bis ich akzeptieren kann, dass du nicht in einem Monat heim kommst und wir dich wieder in die Arme nehmen können. Du hast mein Leben wahnsinnig bereichert und ich bin so froh, dich kennen gelernt zu haben. Ich wollte noch so viel mehr Zeit mit dir verbringen dürfen, und im Herzen wirst du für immer bei mir sein.
Lustige Erfahrungen sind lustiger, wenn man sie mit dir teilen kann, und schwierige Ereignisse sind leichter zu verkraften, wenn du für einen da bist. Ich hoffe, dass du und Bonnie jetzt gemeinsam auf Abendteuerreise seid und alles erleben könnt, was ihr schon immer machen wolltet. Hier wirst du schmerzlich vermisst.

Ich habe Cornelia vor ungefähr 6 Jahren kennengelernt und wir waren schnell enge Freunde. Ich habe Österreich und Wien durch sie kennengelernt. Inklusive ständigen Kommentar dass z.B. Kissen richtig Polster heißt und Kartoffeln natürlich Erdäpfel. Die Kommentare wurden auch 6 Jahre später nicht weniger.
Das ist nur eine von vielen Kleinigkeiten die ich sehr vermissen werde.Cornelia war eine der wichtigsten Wegbegleiter in meinem Leben und wird es auch weiterhin sein. Die Erinnerungen an sie und mit ihr kann mir keiner nehmen. Es gibt so viele Kleinigkeiten im Alltag bei denen ich bisher immer an sie denken musste und bei denen ich auch weiterhin an sie denken werde. Auf die eine oder andere Art und Weise ist sie trotzdem immer bei mir.

Ach Cornelia, warum nur? Du warst so ein beherzter positiver lieber zuverlässiger Mensch, hast meiner Tochter so zur Seite gestanden, selbst so viel Unfälle und Krankheiten überstanden- jetzt hätte eine gute Zeit für Dich beginnen sollen!

Eine einzigartige und wunderbare Person, die meine Lebensweg hier in Wien maßgeblich geprägt hat, geht leider viel zu früh von dieser Welt – du wirst zutiefst vermisst, Cornelia, und ich werde die glücklichen Momente, die du mir geschenkt hast, auf ewig in Erinnerung behalten.
